Strengthening Governance

KAP strengthened its governance framework by passing bylaw changes at the 2025 AGM, aligning the organization with recognized governance best practices.

These changes included shifting to the election of the board executive by the board of directors, supporting continuity, accountability, and effective leadership.

Financial Oversight & Transparency

KAP continued to strengthen financial oversight through enhanced processes and transparency. This included the implementation of electronic payments, improving the efficiency and timeliness of overcollection repayments to members.

Ensuring maximum value and transparency in operations.

Conducted a fulsome review of: 

  • funding agreements,

  • legislation

  • organizational commitments

Comprehensive review of: 

  • expenditures

  • investment activities

  • accounting

  • budgetary practices
